The CSO Shop at Climate Week NYC: 5 Events at the Intersection of Climate x Culture

The 2024 edition of Climate Week NYC is just around the corner. But with 500+ events happening simultaneously across the city, how do you decide where to go?

At The CSO Shop, we’re spotlighting our five favorite events at the intersection of climate, culture, corporate sustainability, business leadership and of course, authentic networking.

1. Music Biz Climate Hub hosted by the Music Sustainability Alliance.

Hear from music business leaders on how the music industry is taking climate action and leveraging its cultural influence to support other scientists, activists and other mobilizers doing the same. Tuesday, September 24th, 1–5pm at the Nest Climate Campus in Jacob Javits Convention Center, 429 11th Ave.

2. Business to Planet Connect hosted by Capgemini.

This event will focus on how businesses can drive sustainability and value, featuring case studies and insights from corporate executives, thought leaders and other change agents. Wednesday, September 25th, 10am–7pm at The Glasshouse, 660 12th Ave.

3. The Carbonauts Sustainability Cocktails hosted by The Carbonauts and Worth.

A reception filled with music, drinks, delicious food and networking with other impact leaders. Wednesday, September 25th, 5–8pm at City Winery, 25 11th Ave.

4. Advancing Women Leaders Across the Apparel Value Chain hosted by Aurora Collective.

An event convening a small group of women impact leaders to accelerate Aurora Collective's initiative of increasing women's leadership roles across the global apparel value chain. Wednesday, September 25th, 1–4pm at BMO Capital Markets, 151 W 42nd St.

5. Forward Food & Fashion, hosted by Clim-Eat in collaboration with Barnard College and Columbia Climate School.

A dynamic conference that will bring together food and fashion sector leaders to exchange best practices and solutions for addressing sustainability and climate change. Don’t miss the 2:45-3:30pm interactive panel on ​​“Enhancing Circularity and Traceability in Sustainable Food and Fashion”, facilitated by Danielle! Thursday, September 26th, 9am–5:30pm at The Forum, Columbia University, 601 W 125th St.
